Versa won't connect or update data

I haven't used my Versa for a few months, now that I want to use it again, after charging it, it has June 10th for a date (today is July 14th).  I have reset it 3 times, and since I have a new phone, I installed the app and connected it to the new phone.  Bluetooth says it is connected but my app won't update with any new stats, my VERSA won't update to the current date and my dashboard on the web says that I don't have any devices paired.  Please help!

Hi @GMOM311, welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'd like to follow up and help you with your Fitbit Versa since it won't connect with your phone and it doesn't update the data properly. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.

 

Please try a factory reset. To do so on your device, follow the steps below:

 

  1. On the device, hold all three buttons for about 10 to 12 seconds. 
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears, quickly release the bottom right button, continuing to hold down the left and top right buttons (releasing the bottom right button as soon as the logo disappears is time sensitive). 
  3. When the device vibrates, release all buttons. 
  4. Wait for approximately 1-2 minutes while the device clears all data. Eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays Fitbit.com/setup.
  5. Set up your watch from scratch and see if the issues get fixed
