Versa won't show correct time

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

For the past several days my Versa (2nd one - 1st one was replaced because it died) has not shown the correct time...the other day it was over 2 hours wrong...this morning it is about 20 minutes late...wtf?  And yes, I have rebooted both my Versa and my Galaxy android phone over and over and over again to no avail.  I will never purchase another Fitbit product again and will not recommend one to family/friends either...pathetic.

@DiscoBillyC Welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here!

Let me help you with your Versa showing the time incorrectly and thank you for restarting your device. How often do you sync your device? If you sync it frequently and the issue persist you may wish to try a factory reset. Just note that you will need to set it up again after this.

Let me know how it goes.

I continually sync...I uninstalled, reinstalled and updated the app on my Android, rebooted both my Android and Versa, resynced and NOTHING...done this several times...Interestingly my cousin has the exact same issues with her Versa (wrong time, not syncing)...I get the error message "tracker not found" on app with Versa...BUT NOT MY OLD CHARGE2....so I am using that while I shop other brands that are more reliable. By the way, my original Versa died, so this is the replacement...and last Fitbit product I will ever purchase.

This started happening to my Versa about a week ago.  It’s very frustrating. Tuesday I woke up, looked at my Fitbit for time and it said 6:20.  I was like yeah , I can go back to sleep!  Little did I know the time was not working and it was really 7:35!  If I put it on the charger it eventually syncs and resets.  But it’s not a battery issue because this morning it was 79% charged when I had to “reset” it. I’ve tried “resetting it” making sure it’s all updated,  updating my iPhone, everything Fitbit recommends!

I’ve only had it a few months and I’m ready to toss it!

My solution: Purchase a Samsung Gear Active smartwatch...LOVE IT! And, best if all: It keeps accurate time (amazing, I know)
