My fitbit won't sync properly, the time is hours behind which led to late alarms for work last week..iv followed all troubleshooting recommendations and nothing. Uninstalled that app, reinstalled it, unpaired the watch, re-paired it, checked the timezones etc but nothing works?? Why?

Hi there, @Jammers300. It's nice to see you around the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa is still not syncing properly and therefore, the time is showing wrong. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!

As our last resort, I'd recommend performing a factory reset on your Versa. Important: Take into consideration that a factory reset deletes any stored data, which includes all data that hasn't synced to your Fitbit account and your applications, alarms, etc.

With the above being said, please follow the steps below to perform the factory reset:

  1. On the device, hold all three buttons for about 10 to 12 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears, quickly release the bottom right button, continuing to hold down the left and top right buttons (releasing the bottom right button as soon as the logo disappears is time sensitive).
  3. When the device vibrates, release all buttons.
  4. Wait for approximately 1-2 minutes while the device clears all data. Eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays Fitbit.com/setup.
  5. You can follow the steps to set up the device after that: How do I set up my Fitbit device?
