My wife just got a new Google Pixel 3XL and now her Versa won't sync reliably and the time is always off. I tried all the standard stuff, and it's still is hit-or-miss. Sometimes it will sync, most times it won't.
Her old phone was BlackBerry Priv (Android 6), and although it wasn't perfect, it worked better.
Is this a Versa issue, Fitbit app issue or phone issue? There doesn't seem to be any advice except the usual Fitbit reset, repair, update common sense.
Thoughts?

Since the update to the app, fitbit has had issues with the versa syncing. Contact customer service, they can give you troubleshooting steps and then if need be, send you a replacement watch. I’m going through something similar.

How would a replacement watch help with an app issue? This would imply that there is a hardware issue.
