My Fitbit syncs sometimes and will show correct time. Then as day progress will end up with time being behind. Sometimes its only a few minutes but can end up being a few hours. I have reset and restarted fitbit multiple times but nothing has helped it from showing wrong time again. Its fustrating as i rely on my fitbit to tell the correct time.

Mine has been gradually falling behind all day. First noticed it about 40 minutes off and now its 53 minutes slow.

Hi there @Jagstar92 and @EzAir, welcome to the Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa smartwatches aren't syncing and the time is showing wrong, I understand why you're feeling frustrated. I appreciate you've taken the time to troubleshoot the issue prior to posting here, I'll be glad to continue to help you both.
As a friendly reminder, keep in mind that your watch may show an incorrect time if it hasn't synced or has been unpaired from your Fitbit account. Your Fitbit grabs the time of the device you're syncing with.
If your tracker got mistakenly unpaired, please set it up again by following the steps at: How do I set up my Fitbit device?. On the other hand, if your watch has not recently synced, follow these troubleshooting steps: Why won't my Fitbit device sync?
Also, I wondered if the mobile device you're syncing with is included in our list of supported devices? You can see the list at: Which phones and tablets can I use with my Fitbit watch or tracker?
I'm looking forward to your response, let me know if you need further help.
Was my post helpful? Give it a thumbs up to show your appreciation! Of course, if this was the answer you were looking for, don't forget to make it the Best Answer! Als...

I have had my fitbit connected to my phone ever since i got it. It has always worked till recently. Sometimes my fitbit syncs in morning and by the afternoon the time will be out. Sometimes my fitbit in the past hasnt been synced for a couple of days and it wouldnt change the time. The only time it would change was if the fitbit died then time will be incorrect. I dont know what is causing it to do this. Its like the fitbit freezes stoping the time at some point before starting again causing it to gradually having time be behind. Sometimes i will look at time in morning and will be only a couple of minutes then by afternoon its a few hours behind. If you have any ideas what is causing it would be great ti know. Thanks

I have my fitbit connected to the same phone for at least the last year with no problems until just recently. Continuously losing time. I’m ready to get rid of it.

These instructions are useless and insulting. We have all tried everything to get the devise to sync and absolutely nothing has helped. I will NEVER buy, recommend anything from Fitbit. I’ve owned my watch since May. I was so happy to get it and loved it until a couple of weeks ago when I quit syncing. SO FRUSTRATING!!!!!!!!

Hey I did a factory reset today and reset it up again on my fitbit app on my phone. I deleted all information off my app and redownload the app too. My fitbit is still losing time. What can i do as i think it has a fault.

Lots of people are having this issue inuding me since firmware upgrade. I've gone through various fitbit support sugetsubg fixes but it seems itching worked and now they are cheekily suggesring I buy a new tracker to 'fix' the problem.

Yes. This is definitely an issue with the last update. I had been considering a new fitbit for Christmas, but now that my current Versa is a useless piece of jewelry I must consider an Apple Watch instead. This is ridiculous. I have deleted the Versa, re-installed it. Turned off the Versa, the iphone, the bluetooth, over and over. I have deleted the app, then reinstalled--what, five times now? I can get the Versa to connect to the phone for maybe 10 minutes. It syncs, it seems fine. Then it loses connection and then it's 10 minutes off, then 20 minutes off, then 40 minutes off. I am doing everything possible to troubleshoot the problem, and it's obviously an issue with the update.

I'm having the same problem with mine I honestly think its a scam to try to get us to buy new devices but if I buy a new device I getting something else. FITBIT don't want to help you they tell you the same steps that I've done over and over and still nothing it definitely had something to do with last update and they won't fix it
