Versa won’t sync

I’ve had my versa since Thursday, during the day my watch will work fine and sync with no issues. When I get up the following morning it will no longer sync, Bluetooth connection keeps dropping (only when trying to sync). I factory reset Friday morning and Saturday morning, spent over a hour each morning installing and setting the watch up again. I’ve spent longer trying to get my watch to work instead of using it. I’ve tried everything, phone on/off, Fitbit on/off, delete and reinstall app, Bluetooth on/off. Other than factory reset I can’t see anything else that works! Very upset and disappointed

I am using the below and 2 days ago my fitbit versa stopped syncing to my phone. About a week ago I bought my new phone and my fitbit versa worked great for the first few days, so I know it is not my new phone. I have tried all the troubleshooting and the only thing that works is to forget my fitbit on my phones Bluetooth, delete it from my fitbit app and re-set it up. This only works temporarily. Within 2 hours or less it stops syncing again. This is extremely frustrating as I love my fitbit so much and hate that is not syncing which doesn't allow me to get any notifications. Please help!

And mine worked for over a month before it quit syncing. Brand new, first thing I noticed, was how slow it synced, eventually stopping altogether. Had this third one for a week and so far,still syncing.

This is my second rose gold versa . First synced intermittently then stopped all together . Went to get my money back and manager at the store said try another one first . So I exchanged it this one synced beautifully for weeks . Now has just stopped like the first one . Can even manually pull or sync now . Can see my steps on the watch face but everyone in the workweek challenge are screaming at me to sync my steps so they can see them too. This is so frustrating as the challenges are one if the reasons I chose Fitbit .

After reading several forums, this seams to be a problem everywhere and on several different phones.

I've had this problem since I brought the Versa over 5 months ago,  It doesn't like connecting to the Bluetooth on my phone for sync ing and other data, no matter what I do.  The only way it seams to work is if you put it back to factory settings and then you lost everything.  I have even tried different devises, to no effect. Can Fitbit please all at this sync ing issue?

I am sending my watch back as well because it will not sync regularly. It is mind boggling that this issue is not fixed

I have a new Versa since 4 days and it works perfect. I hope this will stay for many more days, weeks and months. 

It connects fine when with my S9 and even when i walk en bike it shows me the route i walked or biked.

Right wish me luck! I have my second Versa this time bought direct from Fitbit so expecting to be part of the luck few (if they exist) enjoying the promises advertised. Here’s hoping...

All of mine came from Fitbit too and so far so good on this one! It’s been about a week and it’s charge is holding and it’s syncing.  I hope this one works for you!

I haven’t made a post for a while because my Versa has been syncing fine for a while now. The last call I made to customer service I did an update and that seemed to fix the syncing problem. Well…..the last 2 days it has not synced and I’ve had to revert to resetting the Versa and shutting my iPad down and back on before it would sync! I’m very disappointed and I will give it a few days. If the problem continues I’m going to insist on a replacement! This is my original Versa and I was OK with keeping it since we got it to work right before. But, since the company hasn’t come up with a fix over all these months, they are going to have to give me a replacement!

Hoping everyone else is getting the issue resolved!

I just upgraded from the charge 2 to the versa.  When I got rid of the charge 2 my fitbit screen no longer has my logo in the top left corner.  I have tried reloading it several times.  I have deleted it from my bluetooth on my phone.  I am unable to do anything with my versa.

I have tried restarting both my versa and my phone. I have tried deleting the app and reinstalling it. I’ve restarted my Bluetooth a bunch of times and the app won’t even pick up the Versa. It almost seems like the Bluetooth on the Versa won’t work. How are we supposed to fix this issue? I’ve tried everything I can imagine.

Call the helpline.  This was my exact problem and they walked me through a series of steps and now it works

Tried all the steps. I have an IPhoneX 

syncing is too periodic. Not reliable. Haven’t even had the Versa for a month and has happened multiple times 

There is no point in only being able to view my sleep data 3 or 4 days later!

I will be returning my watch even though I love the other features.

Mine is on all day sync, and still cannot configure and I have to restart my bluetooth at least twice a day.

It’s ridiculous how much jumping through hoops you have to do to get the Versa to sync only to have to do again next time you look.  Extremely frustrating. 😩

Mods - can you add this thread as a sticky as it has more views and comments than those stickered.

there is many many threads being started on the same subject and by having this as a sticky it would stop all those duplicate threads.

I asked for this before and a mod deleted it saying i was not allowed to ask this  - but really do no understand why a fitbit customer cannot ask for a thread to be made a sticky?
