Versa won't sync

I think my Fitbit has finally kicked the bucket. I’ve had it two years now it’s a versa. Last week it stopped syncing I cannot force it to sync and twice in three days the time on the watch is changed it’s falling 4-5 hours behind. I’ve tried rebooting it and I yesterday went back to factory reset and no devices can find it to sync. I’m really sad I absolutely love this watch I don’t need fancy this was perfect. Is anybody else having this problem or should I start looking for a new one? I can’t wear regular watches so this is my only option.

First, I appreciate your effort and patience for troubleshooting this situation before posting over here, I totally understand how frustrating this matter can be for you. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check how the syncing procedure works here and see if there's a missing requirement on your mobile device that's preventing the syncing procedure to be completed.

 

Then, you can move forward and try the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and let me know how it goes.

Having troubles with syncing. Latest updates are installed... firmware issues?

All updates were in. I just noticed it wasn’t syncing and the time changed.
So I put it on the charger and eventually it synced itself but that was the
only sink in 10 days and I don’t know how it did it. Time went back again
about two days later I said it back to factory reset and phone is still not
recognizing watch

I’ve had this watch two years now. I’ve had syncing issues in the past.
But this seems to be more than that because the time is randomly jumping on
it. Also it seems to take a while to connect to the charger now.--
