Hi all
I installed the latest update earlier in the week, but since then my versa doesn’t switch on anymore by pressing a button. The only way to get it back on is to hold all 3 buttons until it comes back on. Also the battery drains whilst it is off! It was charged at 78% last night and now is on 30%.
Does anyone know why this has started happening now? The battery life before was fine.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

@Crubs1982, welcome to our Fitbit Community. I'm happy to assist you with your Fitbit Versa since it won't turn on and the battery drains quickly. I appreciate the time spent trying the troubleshooting steps you mentioned above.
Please try changing the clock face to one developed by Fitbit, not a third party clock face and see if it doesn't turn off all of a sudden.
Regarding the battery draining, please try the tips that are listed in this help aricle. These tips are helpful for this type of issues.
Keep me posted on the outcome.

Hello!
I have exactly the same problem! My fitbit does not turn on if I do not push the 3 buttons at the same time.
In addition, the battery level drops while it is off, exactly like you!
About the clock face: I am using one developed by Fitbit.
Let me know if you find a solution!

This is also happening to my versa. It switched itself off during the night. I had put it on charge while it was off and it hasn’t charged. It is currently charging now that I have restarted it by holding the three buttons

Hi @JuanJoFitbit , any update on this?
I switched off my Versa during the night and I could only restart it by pushing the 3 buttons. In addition, the battery level dropped while it was switched off from 92 to 61%.
Thanks for your help!

I am experience the same issue I shut my watch off every night because I don’t like sleeping with it and in the morning I now have to push two buttons to get the turn on and I’ll go to sleep with it at 90% wake up turn it on and it’s at 50% and since it’s sitting there supposedly off all night it should not be doing any of that.

Maybe you can try to turn off the " All-Day Sync"
It is on the phone app, left top icon, press "Versa" and rolling to the bottom "All-Day Sync"....
good luck!

Same with me, I’ve always just had a Fitbit clock face nothing has changed other than the upgrade last week. I’ve since let the battery drain to empty, charged it for a few hours and left it on over night and it’s holding the battery levels better than when it’s off. Not the best solution but it’s working!

The all day sync should not affect my watch when its turned off right? I go into setting on my watch and shut it down totally. Its never lost juice before when i did it. Since Apple and Fitbit both updated I have been having this issue. Its like even though I powered down the watch, it didn't really shut off, even though the lights are off.

Hi @Crubs1982 , so I contacted the consumer support. It took me a lot of time to explain that the problem came from the last update. But at the end, they just sent me an offer to exchange my watch. It is very nice, but also kind of a waste to my opinion.

Same with my Versa. Battery Power ist lost while the watch seems to be shut down. Opened a Ticket but they told me I should wait and shouldn't switch off the watch. Not a very kind suggestion. Hope they will find the bug as fast as possible.
