Versa won't turn on

I have had my versa for six months. Yesterday i tried to check the times but the screen was black. I called customer service who tried to trouble shoot fixing it but that did not work. I spoke to customer service who stated they would replace my versa free off charge however i feel that is unacceptable, this its a know problem with the versa’s , i feel i should have had my device replaced with a new generation. We will see how well the next versa works.
