Versa won't turn on

I recently had an issue with the swipes not working. Restarts and resetting didn't improve the condition. The performance on my watch has been steadily declining for the past month. Besides the swipes the edges of the LCD screen were looking off-color/purplish.

 

So this morning I put my watch in its charger for about an hour and I left for work with 82% charge. By the time I finished my commute, my watch had turned off. And since then, no amount of pushing buttons in any combination for any amount of time has made a difference. It is still off and will not communicate with my phone. Any thing else I can try before I give up?
