Versa won't turn on

My versa has recently stopped giving me a HR read, and has also randomly jumped to exercise short cut menus, without being touched. The screen also no longer turns on when turning wrist to check the display.

In an effort to fix this, I shut it down. It no longer jumped to the shortcut menu, but it didn't turn on when checking display again and still won't read HR.

Now, I have gone to charge it. It is hot to the touch, should be charged by now (been on for an hour), but it's completely unresponsive. I've held all the buttons down to turn it on, up to 5 minutes. Is this thing pooches for good, or what?
