Make sure the watch is charged.

Follow the correct restart procedure for the watch with the buttons

Hello @Dougiedoo75, your participation here in the Community Forums is appreciated.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for the details that were shared. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know if the heart rate sensors are flashing or is your device completely unresponsive? If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check our help article: Why isn't my battery charging on my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes.

Looking forward to your reply.

I have same problem. New Versa2 received at Christmas no longer powers on. Tried all the recommended steps above with no success. How do I proceed?

@Owen777  Check its charging before trying to turn it on.

To see what's happening with the charge

Connect the charge cable to the watch and plug it into a PC USB port

The PC should announce a connected device with a sound, it means its connected and charging

[if there is no sound, either the volume on the PC is low, or off, or the watch is not properly connected to the charger or has a fault]

if PC then announces a disconnected device with another sound, it means the watch battery is either flat or the watch is dead

anyway wait 10 minutes [for battery to get to 5%]

if the watch or battery is not dead it will announce device connected again

[the watch may also wake up]

if after an hour there is nothing on the watch face

try starting it by pressing a button for a few seconds and waiting for the logo to appear or restarting with the buttons

if nothing comes on the screen, either there is a screen or button fault or the watch is dead  - but wait

Check the button start procedure, that the button clicks

Hi @RicardoFitbit

I bought a Versa2 for my wife as a Christmas present - direct from fitbit.com. A Couple of days ago it stopped recording her steps. It sinc'd at 10:03 this morning and it shows that the Versa2 is still fully charged - but no steps since Monday.

To rectify I did a factory reset - following the online instructions. However, I now have the same problem as @Owen777 .The screen is blank, it won't switch on and I am now stuck with a Versa2 which is useless.

How do I rectify?

Note - the heart rate sensors are not flashing.
