Versa won't turn on

I went to the river over the weekend and my Versa (original) was working just fine. I didn't do any heavy swimming at the river, mostly just hanging out in the shade and my Versa would occasionally get in the water. I was able to charge it and it was receiving notifications the whole time I was there. I made it home and the Versa was still working fine, and then out of no where I noticed the Fitbit logo was showing on the screen and it looked different than normal - like the colors were bleeding vertically across the screen. But it was still vibrating and showing notifications. Then, in the next hour the screen wouldn't come on, but the green lights on the back were working. Then a little later the whole thing just stopped working.

I've tried restarting, doing a factory reset, nothing is making it come on.

Is it dead forever?? I've only had it for a little over 2 years.

@CARCENEAUX15 Welcome to our Fitbit Community. I totally understand how you feel about your Versa since it won't turn on, even though you have tried to get it back to life before contacting our forums.

I'd like to know if your Versa vibrates when you put it on the charger. In the meantime, try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. This article contains steps that you already tried but you can skip them and proceed with the rest.

Finally, charge your watch for 2-3 hours and see if it comes back to life.

See you later.

Hi! It does not vibrate when connecting to the charger, however I did see
that the screen is now showing a blank black screen where previously I
couldn't see even that.
Is there any hope for it?
