Versa working only when plugged into charger

Fitbit Versa turned off when still 60%charged. Will not turn back on. When put on the charger, comes on and shows data but as soon as it’s taken off, it closes and will not go on. If back and side button are pressed, will show symbol but this disappears as soon as the buttons are released.
This is the fourth Fitbit device with which I have experienced problems. This is the second Fitbit Versa that has been problematic. There is a problem most weeks with synching or the like. It will be my last!

Hi @Sandgroper, welcome to the Community Forums! Sorry for the delay in responding your post.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for the details that were shared, I understand how frustrating this matter can be for you. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know if the heart rate sensors are flashing or is your device completely unresponsive? If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check our help article: Why isn't my battery charging on my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes. Such article includes a restart process which can be really helpful for this situation.

Let me know if you have any additional questions, I'll be here.
