I've just brought a new versa. On Thursday .I have the Huawei P20 Pro. It will not work at all. I've tried since Thursday to do the update. It won't work. It just displays the logo. I've tried deleting the app. Reinstalling it. Restarting phone. Restarting Fitbit. Everything that's online I've tried. And nothing is working. So upset and disappointed. Just wondering if anyone else is having this problem. Thanks

@Jaydeevic1414 I am assuming you have never managed to set this device up. So, does it still display a message to download Fitbit app etc? Or something else?

Yes. It comes up with the dark background and the green dotty Fitbit logo. And says download Fitbit app in multiple languages. And that's all it will do.

Hi, your phone is in the list of supported devices by Fitbit, so it should not be a problem to set it up to your phone. Since it is a new device, setting it up will also install the newest Firmware Version. This can lead to problems during the setup. Try this guide to setup your Versa with you new device and follow it to to the letter: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Versa-Versa-Lite/Hassle-free-guide-to-update-your-Versa-s-firmware/t.... In this guide your setup will be done over WiFi instead of BT. Hope this guide is helpfull for you, and if yes, see my signature. Good luck!!

@Jaydeevic1414 It means your tracker hasn't been set up yet. Your phone model is not supported, but some people on this forum have reported that they manged to make it work with the older version of Fitbit mobile app. I would suggest downloading Fitbit 2.74.2 apk file and installing it. You can google the instructions if you do not know how to do that. You will need to uninstall your current fitbit mobile app. Then perform the following steps:

  1. Just in case the tracker got paired, unpair (remove) Versa from your phone's bluetooth settings
  2. Uninstall Fitbit mobile app
  3. Reboot your phone and install Fitbit mobile app version 2.74.2.
  4. Reboot your Versa by pressing and holding the left and bottom right buttons until Fitbit logo appears
  5. Login to Fitbit mobile app
  6. Plug Versa into charging dock and make sure the tracker and your phone are near the router
  7. Set up Versa by adding a new device in the Fitbit mobile app
  8. Grant all permissions Fitbit requests.
