Versa2 GPS and Strava both stopped

I see there are issues with fitbit syncing with strava.  My GPS has stopped working at the same time.  How can I get both of these working?

I have authorized Strava several times, I have deleted the app and reloaded and authorized it again and reset my versa.  None of it works.

Hello @bhblake you answer to your question about why Strava is not syncing sill be found in your post. 

For an exercise to sync to Strava it needs to be recorded with GPS. IE: with no gps the exert use will not be sent to Strava. 

Our question is, how do I get GPS to work? For this it could be helpful to know which phone. 

Do you still get notifications? Do yo get today's weather on the wrist? 

On Android, the first thing to try is a restart of the phone, the second thing would be a restart of the tracker.

I am using a Samsung Galaxy S9. The GPS no longer shows up on fitbit with a map of my runs.  I have reset both 3x now.  Is there something that needs to be changed through fitbit to get google maps to sync again?
