I think it's tricky getting this information across before we buy. The retail box for the Versa 2 and the fitbit online store both say that we need an iOS or Android device and don't mention Windows. They also both direct us to www.fitbit.com/devices to check compatibility. But, thing is, who reads them? It's particularly difficult if you buy from a store as who has time to both reading the small print on the bix before handing over the cash?
I think fitbit do try to make the requirements clear. I'm sure they could do more. But I've no idea what that might be.
Best AnswerNo, the box simply says "iPhone and Android compatible". Nowhere on the box does it say that a specific OS version is REQUIRED just to get the Versa 2 up and running.
Perhaps if they spent an extra nickel on ink, they could afford to print OS version requirements on the box. But I understand, that would require having a modicum of empathy for your customers.
