I am setting up a new Versa 2. I leads me to enter a 4 digit pin but nowhere have I set one up on the watch. The one for my phone does not work. Anyone have any ideas where I find it or how to get past this step? I security tape on the box was folded over so it might have been a return item from Amazon. I am just hoping there is a way around it before I just return for exchange.

Best AnswerWhere would I receive it on my phone? I just have blank lines with a number pad on both devices.. I have an IPhone SE if it matters.

Best AnswerTo be specific the device says to use phone to unlock it. And the phone says to use the four digit code displayed on the device.
Best Answer@Timconcern is this a new to you device or a new out of the box Fitbit? Sounds like someone may have set it up before for you to be getting that message.
Best Answer@Timconcern Normally you would go to add device in the app settings, choose Versa 2. The app should look for the watch and when they connect, you get the code. In the meantime, chat support is really quick, you could likely be on your way in 5 minutes rather than waiting back and forth here on the community forum.
Just called customer service this device has been paired with a device before me apparently Amazon sold a returned device to me as new. Returning for exchange as I type.
