My daughter's bought me the versa fitbit watch for an early mothers day gift and I figured possibly being an upgrade from some of the others it was well worth the money. I am actually a little disappointed with it because it says it can be used with an android which I have and it will not let me open any msgs that I receive, but works with iphones...what the crap!! If their is a way to open up msgs please fill me in as in my job I am not able to have my actual phone on me so I thought this would be great in case one of my children need to get a hold of me I would get it quickly and I could get right back to them. Well that isn't the case and it was a little much to spend and doesn't offer the feature where as the smaller version of the fitbit that another family member has, you are able to do all the features. Just a bit disappointed right now!!!

Not sure why it doesn't work for you but on my Ionic (that has the very same operative system) paired with Android I can definitely read the messages.

Can you kind of tell me what I might need to do. Pairing wise, I have tried
several different things and nothing is working.

Have you verified that your phone is compatible? What do you mean by "open" the message? I have an iPhone so it's a bit different, but I can see most of the message (text message) if I tap the message. Only to a certain length though, I think that's just a limitation of the device.
