Voice cues

All I really want is pair my headphones with my phone, start a run on the fitbit, have audio cues and have a run readout on my wrist...

Not possible is it?

If I use the app, the fitbit just starts logging it's own run separately (and differently).

I’ve just got a Versa 3 and seem to be having the exact same issue.

I connect my Bluetooth headphones to my iPhone 11 to hear my music.

If I start an exercise through the Fitbit watch, no audio cues play.
Having searched these forums my understanding is you need to launch an exercise from the phone app, then you’ll get the voice cues. But you then can’t glance at your watch to see your stats.

This surely has to be a fundamental feature of a fitness watch which Fitbit seems to be missing. I don’t understand why I have just spent £200 on a watch that doesn’t link to the app?

Yup, I don't understand why more people aren't annoyed about this, it is
fundamental...

The only workaround I've found is to use a 3rd part app for audio readouts
and the versa separately for visual ref, not great though.
