I bought my device via Amazon just over a year ago and i worse it in the shallow end of a pool on Saturday in swimming mode, it will not turn back on when it had sufficient battery. This is the second Fitbit device I’ve had this happen to me and I just want a refund now, can not guarantee they are waterproof upto 50m/ pressure and two have now broke once going into water. I’ve tried the live chat and calling but no response. Can anyone help me?

Hi @rhjones when purchased directly from Fitbit, you have 45 days in which to request a refund. When purchasing from Amazon, it's up to that seller to determine if you're able to get a refund. Live chat and phone support coverage is available when someone is there to assist you. All you can do is vary the time you call until you get a response.

If you're in the UK / Euro you have 2 years warranty tho I think after a year the best you can hope for is a fix / repair.
Contact Amazon directly and they will help you out. If you're in the US warranty is only a year so you may be out of luck
It seems Fitbit do offer a lower price on a replacement device (I've been hearing that *a lot* since I bought mine, and it's frankly worrying).

Hi @SunsetRunner there are no repairs on these devices. If customer support feels there is a hardware issue, they may replace it under warranty or perhaps offer a discount if it's out of warranty. Warranty information can be found here - click to read.
