Water Damage!?!?!?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

So, I wore my watch while in shallow water, for a short amount of time, and now it won't turn on. I've tried holding down all three buttons for an extended amount of time, with no response. Then, I turned over the watch and in the heart rate scanner thing, I saw small air bubbles, like there is water inside! I'm really scared I've broken the watch!!!!! Help!!!!

Hi @BELLAC26006,

My sister did the same thing with a non-water resistant cell phone and it worked wonders.  You will need a Ziploc bag, the Versa in question, and white rice.  Fill the bag with white rice and put the Versa in it.  Leave it in there for a day and then it should act as though the watch never even went in the water.

Rice is a starch, so it should dry out the water from the watch.  Once it's dry, dry the Versa with a towel and give it a charge.  See if it will connect to your phone and if not, contact Support.

@DramaQueenDiva

Hi, thanks for that, I've tried it for a while now, but sadly it hasn't worked.  Thanks anyway!
