HELP!

Have owned a Versa 1 for years.

I don't swim and I don't normally have swimming listed on the watch as an exercise.

In the gym today, I distractedly selected the third listed exercise which seems to have been chsnged from 'Weights' to swimming. ( after an update?》.

A message came up about screen locking and my virtual waterless 'swim' started.

Now the right two buttons do nothing. My 'swim' is ticking away (over 2 1/2 hours now!)

I cannot reset as the right bottom button does nothing.

Double tap doesn't work.

Heavy diuble tap doesn't work.

Advice please (or do I just have to wait for the battery to go flat?)

@Digit01   I'm scratching my head over your predicament.  I can say for certain that double tapping the screen is used on the trackers, not the smartwatches.  Smartwatches use the button.  I have a Versa 3, a device with only one "button" on the left.  Did you try double pressing the left button?  I can also say that there is a sweet spot in the timing, not too fast and not too slow.  There is another reason I am scratching my head.  I know you have the Versa in your hand and you mention buttons on the right.  Fitbit must have added water lock in a secret update.  This Help article doesn't mention water lock on a Versa.🤔  I'm not even sure Support can help you if the Help article is wrong.

Thanks for your suggestion LZeeW. Double pressing the left button didn't do anything useful. Tried too fast, too slow and everything in between.

The battery emptied overnight and I am now operational again after the reboot. Will not be selecting `swim` again!
