Weather App not working on Versa

 My weather app is only working when I am synced and connected to the fitbit app on my phone.  Does this app not work over wifi? Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Thank you!!!! This worked for me after trying everything else. This also fixed the issue with the weather note showing in my watch face. Everyone should try this for both issues, I hope it works for y'all!

Having to sync an app on Versa to get anything on your phone is pointless and a worthless feature... Just use your phone!!! Sarcasm is high...

It’s only because the Weather App is a feature that’s supposed to work smoothly.
If that or any other feature doesn’t work correctly then we didn’t get our money’s worth for the product.

We definitely did not..... one of the many products of false advertising or cloudy advertising.
Not that is was a $20.00 purchase and we could say we got what we paid for.

I had the weather app working for a few days now it does not work. It has the name of my town, says to sync but still does not work. reset and made sure wifi was connected. Using computer and fitbit app . Any other ideas

It may be the watch face you’ve downloaded... some are glitchy... try a different face with weather and see if it works... then switch back... best wishes!!!

Thanks for the suggestion. Tried a couple of clock faces, even the original one. Still says to sync for weather, but get nothing.  thanks anyway

My weather app wasn’t working so searched on this forum. Combined all given tips and solutions. So I got it to work again by unchecking all permissions to fitbit app on iPhone. Then deleted fitbit app and reinstalled. Checked all the permissions back on and just in case restarted my Versa. Dunno which one did it, but it works \o/ \o/ \o/

My Weather App is not working.  My Fitbit says "Sync the Fitbit mobile app to update."  I've Synced several times and nothing happens.  Help!

Tried syncing with app open.  Still not working.  Blaze says "Sync the Fitbit mobile app to update.  Nothing happens.  Help!

No that didn’t do a thing.   Versa seems to be way more trouble than it’s worth.

I have a versa lite and I have the same problem. It used to work but now it won't sync the weather. Everything else updates OK. I've recently installed IOS 13 on my iPhone and thought that might be the problem so I deleted the Fitbit app and reinstalled it. Unfortunately it didn't fix the problem
