Weight history is different than what I log

Hi everyone. I've gotten in the habit of logging my weight in both the app and sometimes on my watch. I try and weigh myself at the same time each day (in the morning before eating or drinking). Recently I noticed my weight history in the app is different than what I logged. I know this because I have a digital scale that shows weights in 0.2lb increments, but the weight in my app often shows odd-numbered weights.

My question:

1. Does that app somehow guess how my weight has changed given calories burned or something?

2. If 1. above is true, how can that even be accurate if I don't log my meals and food??

It does not try to do any logic calculations or such on your weight.  It just seems to often get shifted a tenth of a pound going to the app display.  That happens too when using Aria series scales to auto-log weight.  A bit annoying but I can live with tenth of a pound error.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Thanks for the response. I agree that a tenth of a pound is immaterial, but it makes me question the app in general. How/why is the code making that change? Not a big deal, but something I'm stuck pondering...

Your body can vary up to 5 pounds a day.

A tenth of a pound is about an ounce and a half of water
