What does the calories burned celebration on Versa 2 mean?

Hi, I’ve had my versa 2 for 2 months and love it. I do have a question regarding the calories burned “congratulations” figure. When my calories burned number gets to 2153 my versa vibrated a and the screen has confetti flowing. How did this number come to be? I don’t know what this number actually means and why is it congratulating me? I have a 1200 calorie day and usually burned at least 400 in exercise.

There is a daily calorie burn goal that gets set when you first set up a Fitbit.  I found that mine 'sort of' matched when I hit 10 K steps but others have said that's not at all the case for them.  I have never seen any explanation of how that goal is determined, but you can change it, like most other goals.
