WhatsApp notifications are not vibrating on my Versa

I have a Versa - notifications are turned on for WhatsApp in the app, however, my watch doesn't vibrate when a message comes through. The message is there when I look at messages on my watch, but I want the vibrate back. I used to have it, but it randomly vanished a while ago. Texts and anything else I have notifications for work, just not WhatsApp. Any advice?

Hi there @rachypanda, welcome to the Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear that notifications on your Versa stopped vibrating, I understand where your concern is coming from. I'll be glad to help you.

Have you tested the vibration motor? Your Fitbit device vibrates to alert you at various times, including if you set an alarm, when you hit your step goal, or if you haven’t met your hourly activity goal.

If your device didn't alert you, make sure you successfully set an alarm. For more information, see How do I manage alarms on my Fitbit device?

If you correctly set the alarm or aren’t receiving other alerts, test your device’s vibration motor by connecting the device to the charging cable. For more information, see How do I charge my Fitbit device?

On the other hand, keep in mind that when you turn on the do not disturb, quiet hours, or driving mode setting on your phone, your Fitbit device receives notifications but won’t alert you. Swipe down from the top of the screen to see your notifications.

To temporarily turn off notifications on your Fitbit device:

  • Swipe down from the top of your screen. After your notifications appear, swipe down again to open the control center. Tap the quick settings icon > Do Not Disturb or Sleep Mode. For more information, see How do I navigate my Fitbit device's screen?

Note: If you have an Android phone, you can set your Fitbit device to always send you notifications:

  1. Tap the Today tab > your profile picture > Notifications.
  2. In the Vibration Settings section, turn on the Always Vibrate option.

I'm looking forward to your response.

My Fitbit versa lite does not vibrate with What’s Ap messages.. it vibrates at all other times for alarm and movement alerts. I have gone through all the instructions but I still can’t get it to vibrate.
