White lines going through Versa screen

All of a sudden, I have thick white lines going vertical on my screen. I have not dropped or damaged it in anyway. Received the watch as Christmas present so only several months old. I have tried changing the watch face. I have also tried a reboot several times. Lines will not go away. Seems to function correctly as it is still syncing with the app. Not sure what to try next.

Hi, since you already tried to change the clock face and also the restart procedure without solving the problem, I would advice you to contact Customer Support about your screen problem.

I am having a problem similar to this.  A small sliver of white shows on the bottom right corner, as if the screen was a crooked picture frame.  I have take a photo of the problem, then restarted, factory reset and restarted again.  JuanJoFitbit, can you please advise?  The issue persists.  Please review my account and feel free to contact me or have support contact me via the email associated with the account.  Also, I have NEVER been able to load music to my device, despite following the steps found online to do so.  Would love support with this.  With much appreciation.   Kimdot.

Wasn’t able to get it fixed, brought it back and got a refund. Bought a
Garmin instead.

Same thing happened to me. Was fine and was sitting At table and next thing I know I have the solid white bar across the screen.

did a factory reset try different screens called into tech-support and all they can tell me is it’s out of warranty. And haven’t even had it a year and a half. Not great.

@SDbeachmomma Thank you for joining us in this thread and our Fitbit Community. I'm sorry to hear about the screen issues that your Fitbit Versa experienced. I'm also sorry to hear that it's no longer under warranty. The warranty period is good for 365 days, starting from the date of the first setup.

I totally understand how you feel about this and we appreciate your feedback since this helps us to keep improving.

JuanJo,

Why not tell people the truth:  It can't be fixed, the best Fitbit will do is offer a 35% discount on a replacement.

Best Answer

Received same 35% offer on a new device.  This is the second Fitbit that has crapped out on me. With the bright vertical white line it makes a great flashlight.
