Since my personal Windows 10 computer does not support bluetooth, I down loaded the app and and completed the setup of a new Versa 2 (after a 8.5 hour firmware update) using my company's laptop computer. That computer is not usually available to me. The app on my personal computer reflects the setup, but will not sync using the dongle I purchased from Fitbit. When I insert the dongle, windows recognizes it and says it is ready for use. Anyone have any ideas before I return everything for a refund?

First, I appreciate your effort and patience for troubleshooting this situation prior to posting, I totally understand how frustrating this matter can be for you but I'm here to help you with this. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check how the syncing procedure works here and see if there's a missing requirement on your computer that's preventing the syncing procedure to be completed. Also, you can move forward to the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and let me know how it goes.

I've read somewhere that Windows 10 doesn't support versa 2. I would believe it because I can't get my laptop (windows 10) to sync with my versa 2. Is this true? Or am I doing something wrong?

I dont think fitbit versa 2 is compatible with a dongle because why wouldn't they include it in the box

And yet, in reading some of the past responses and "remedies" to it, they push users/owners of the Versa 2 to use the dongle if they are using a Windows10 pc. They will tell you to go here and get this, and then try this and wait for that. Then if that doesn't work, I'm going to pass you along to another useless link. They have said, in the instructions I had read on this subject in this forum/thread is that the Versa 2 IS capable of syncing with the dongle. But apparently not with the Windows 10 fitbit app. It's such a circular confusing mess.

That is to say, a Windows 10 DESKTOP p.c. without Bluetooth capabilities.
