I got the versa lite as a Christmas present, was really impressed with it, up till yesterday. It will not sync. Tried all the steps to fix this, managed to sync and stay connected... for 5 minutes. Tried all day but to no avail. It just will not sync, don't know what to do next. Very frustrated and fed up!

Have the Versa 2. But sometimes happens. Found an App I loaded was messing with it. Try these steps.
1) make sure your phone has bluetooth on then restart it.
2) make sure you have no apps open in recently active screen (Android user)
3) restart your fitbit

Bought mine two days ago, wouldn't sync or connect to WiFi (didn't even show any available wi-fi's on scanning). I bought my daughter the versa lite which had no problems. I almost gave up then tried factory reset a on the watch as a last resort - and it worked! Immediately found WiFi connection, and then was able to update software etc - very happy now as fully functioning. Thought I'd share after trying other options online that didn't work for me.
