was able to set up watch using app on my iPhone but on my laptop, I downloaded the Fitbit app & it will not connect to WiFi. I have other devices which connect to WiFi without issue so I can only assume, it’s the windows app .. it won’t even give me the option to set up the WiFi manually .... is there anything else I can do as it’s getting very frustrating!

Hi, try this: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1873/?l=en_US&c=Topics%3AGetting_Started&p=versa.... Click the link, click trackers and watches, scroll down untill you see "Fitbit connect" and press that. Good luck!!

I wouldn't necessarily assume it's the windows app. To find out for sure, you would have to first remove your Versa from your iPhone, then try to add it using Windows 10 app and see if it works then.
I haven't gone thorough setup in a while but I believe it is possible to skip the wi-fi part. If wi-fi connection is already set up, maybe it is not necessary to add the same wi-fi again.
