Hi, if you're using a Third Party Clock Face, change it to one developed by Fitbit itself and restart your Versa.

Just sync it first before trying anything else.

@Lindsey_Berndt Welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with your Versa since it's not showing the correct time and date.
Please restart your Versa as described in this help article. This will refresh your tracker internally. Once you've done this, please follow the tips that shared @SunsetRunner and @SunsetRunner and see if the date and time get corrected.
Let us know how it goes! 😀

Had my Versa 2 for a week and so disappointed. Constantly has the wrong date AND the wrong time. I've followed all instructions to restart it, to change the timezone (and then back to the correct one), to reboot the app on my phone... EVERYTHING. How hard is it to just get the basics right... much less all of the extra functionality this is supposed to have.
In a last ditch effort, tried deleting the Versa 2 from my devices in the app and re-adding it... now will completely not add back. I get to the 4-digit screen and type them in... only for them to NOT be accepted and for it to serve up 4 new digits which ALSO aren't accepted. Have been trying to get this thing to even just tell the accurate date and time and it seems incapable. This is a $200 paper weight and I couldn't feel more ripped off.

I have tried all the suggestions from full shutdown and restart to sync up and then making sure the watch face is a Fitbit watch face. Still can't get the time and date to display correctly. Versa 2. It syncs, updates, but will not pick up correct date or time. Time is one hour back and date is one month back.
What next ?

Hi so after too much frustration i found the access /permission to the calendar on my phone to the fit bit app needs to be allowed and that corrected my date issue. Hope this helps.

Thank you so much for this solution! My versa lite has not been syncing to the current date for the last week or so. I tried resyncing, uninstalling the app, factory reset of the watch, and none of that worked. Fixing this app permission finally seems to have solved it.
For anyone else with this issue, I found this setting on my phone by going into phone settings > permission manager > calendar. Fitbit was showing under the deny category and it's a simple toggle to change to allow.

Nice try, doesn’t work. Go back to MIT. They are simple trade school.

I discovered my Pixel 3 removed some app permissions automatically because I didn't open the app for a long time. Restored all permissions except for microphone under the phone's settings > Apps > FitBit > Permissions, then go back once, Force Stop, then go to Storage and clear cache. Reopen the Fitbit app, allow it to sync, and the date & time are displaying correctly on my Versa 2 now. Hope this helps!

I had issues with Versa Lite time. I tried all the recommendations in the forum (changing clock faces, rebooting, factor reset), but none of them worked. Finally, I managed to fix the time by resetting the Timezone in the Fit Bit app.

I reset watch, reset time zone, did the update, etc. I ended up adding a new clock face from selection of free watch faces and as soon as I did, it automatically changed! Not sure if that would’ve done it alone or not but that was my experience! Versa 2

This fixed it for me. account -> app settings-> clock display time
whatever it is set to, change it, sync, your watch, then change it back, and sync your watch again. mine was set to 12 hours, I changed it to 24, synced it, and the time was correctly set and the date as well. I had tried all the other suggestions, and none worked for me. This was just a guess. But it worked fine. Hope it helps.
