brightness on versa not working

My versa is not able to change brightness.  I went to setting to reset but it will not adjust.  It is stuck in dim.  any suggestions?

Check if you are in 'Sleep Mode'.  That intentionally keeps the display dim.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
