com.fitbit.HTTP error 403 while setup Versa Lite

I am trying to setup my Versa Lite to my iPhone and when I put in the four digits displayed I receive the message. The operation couldn't be completed. (com.fitbit.HTTP error 403). I have made multiple attempts.

Try uninstalling and reinstalling the app with a phone reboot in between.

Unfortunately that did not solve the issue. I am continuing to to the error message.

Hi, try the guide I wrote regarding updating to the newest Firmware Version, which you also will get when setting up your Versa now. It uses WiFi instead of BT, that's the main difference. I am having this same issue! I have uninstalled ap multiple times, reset, rebooted. I've done everything. Removed device from ap and now cannot get it back on. About ready to throw it in the trash and get an apple watch!!

My Fitbit is locked and says unlock with iPhone what a joke I’ve been playing with it for two days Now I’m getting this error on my phone. I’m all done with Fitbit. I’m very frustrated!im also thinking about going to a Apple Watch.
