iOS App won’t let me edit excerise

Cant edit my workout mileage on the iOS app:

I walked on the treadmill today and tracked it on my Versa. At the end of the workout, the treadmill says that I did 1.3 miles whereas my watch says I only walked .6. I only held on with my non-watch wrist to try to avoid this. In the app I’m trying to edit the exercise to 1.3 mi rather than .6mi and every time I do it just goes back to .6. Anyone know how to resolve this?

Hello @LaneT12 and welcome to the Community.  I'm sorry, but you can't edit the distance in a tracked activity.  I think the app will edit the distance if you edit the time -- sometimes people forget to end their exercise and the iOS app will let you edit the end time.

Please don't be overly concerned about your distance discrepancy.  Fitbit uses a steps x stride length to calculate treadmill distance.  People change their stride length at different walking speeds.  A treadmill uses the belt motion to calculate distance.  Treadmill distance is notoriously inaccurate.  The way to resolve this is to accept the limitations of both devices.
