manually set time zone

Hello,

I'd like to set my time zone manually and not have it update automatically. My computer is set for a different time than my phone and so depending which device my versa sinks with....I can be in either time. I was up an hour early today as it synched with my computer (it hasn't done this for months but I opened the fitbit app yesterday and I think that did it).

I've gone in to settings and changed the time zone, but it will still update automatically.

This has also caused problems for me when travelling, because if you're travelling through multiple airports, you can't be confident on the time on your watch as you don't know when it synched.

TIA

You can also try setting it this way:  Go to Fitbit.com and click on the gear Icon at the upper right (Computer) or the picture Icon at the upper left (Android phone) and then on Settings.  Change Time Zone as desired and scroll on down and click on Submit and then sync your tracker.

I haven't actually tried this, must maybe something you haven't seen to try:

  1. In the Fitbit app, tap the Today tab

    > your profile picture > Advanced Settings.
  2. Turn off the Automatic time zone option.
  3. Tap Select time zone and select the correct time zone.
  4. Sync your Fitbit device.
Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Thanks - I had changed the automatic sync to off on my phone, but have now also changed it to the app on my computer and I expect that will solve the issue. The dashboard from the website doesn't seem to have a place to sync automatically so hopefully it won't do that on its own. Thanks for responding!

thank you for responding! I did have the time zone set on my computer dashboard (from the website) and so double checked that it was still on it (it was). On my phone and computer app, I have them both now to not sync automatically so hope that will solve it. Thanks again!
