versa 2 music controls - artist info not available

Hi,

 

I am facing an issue whereby versa 2 will not display the music that the phone is playing,it just states artist info not available.This is intermittent as I ever saw it display the artist info once or twice,after which I cannot get it to display properly.

 

Connected to versa classic and notifications are coming in properly though.

Read the below thread topic and it seems that it might be related,but mine is able to control the music:

@fb_j It's nice to have you on board! Sorry for the delay in my reply.

Let me help you with your Versa not showing artist's information. I suggest you try clearing the bluetooth connection between your phone and your Versa 2 by doing the following:

  1. Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  2. Restart your phone and restart your device. 
  3. Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  4. Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on. 
  5. After this setup music control again.
