Did you mean:

AI changed my tracking data

In the normal app, I had these records for my heart variability rate:

As you see, I've had a peak on april 9th with 43.

Well, the AI decided it was wrong, and changed it to 34. It also changed many of the other days. It's a grave thing if the data is changed, data it's not longer trustable.

Not everything has to be AI!!!!!!
It only should be used when it's an usefull case. To display exact data a simple exact graph and table is enough!

I have a fitbit inspire 3 tracker, and a Motorola Edge 50 neo phone (although that's irrelevant in this case)

seemingly different values are generated in each versions in particular heart rate variability. Why is that?

Since I am using the new public preview I noticed that my steps counts differ between watch and the old app UI and the new UI.

Sometimes watch and old UI are aligned, watch and new UI never is and I also see my watch deleting steps when synchonising, despite the fact that the new UI always shows more steps.

This has become highly unreliable and I dont know what to actually trust. I have restarted the device a few times. Is this related to the new UI update? I really enjoy the coaching, but to have unreliable data is not very reassuring.

Thanks

I'm not sure why I got an email about your post in particular, maybe it was just kind of Fate because I actually have experience with this one even though I no longer use fitbit. This happened to me with a bunch of my data. I went to support for it because my numbers had changed by a lot, and i was told that when they update the algorithm it can not only alter how new data is calculated (none of it is raw, it's all put through algorithms), but it also alters your previous data. So unfortunately a lot of the data that Fitbit displays now is just ultimately incorrect because it's all affected by algorithm. 🫤 It's discouraging to see information changing like that.

I am having the same issue, I am so disheartened and quite frankly angry to see that there are such obvious inaccuracies. It feels lazy to Implement useless and dangerous inaccurate AI just for the sake of it when no one wants it and it is deteriorating the quality of the product and experience. Its disrespectful to customers who pay for a watch and then you ruin the app!
