Able to return to previous Fitbit app version

Woke up this morning to your new app. To say the least I am not impressed. It lacks color and is boring and adds nothing new to what was there before. I absolutely hate it. I am a longtime Fitbit user but this might actually change that on next purchase.

I’ll become Churn rather than switch to a Google device.

Usually, the top executives at a company that is purchased receive monies &
stock options in the purchasing company’s stock that is tied to future
performance. Greed exists at the top level of the company that is purchased
and greed by the purchasing company on that lucrative R.O.I. On the $2.1
billion purchase price for Fitbit in 2019.

I guess it's take the money and retire.

Yes, Mike.

They have to lookout for themselves, we as humans cannot blame those
owners/executives at Fitbit for making the decision to accept Google’s
offer. Those Fitbit owners/executives have to think about themselves &
their families or Fitbit customers. When we all do some self-reflection,
most of us will choose ourselves & family over the community at large, no
matter it was us as customers made their product valuable.

The updated app is so disappointing. I hate the way it looks. So dull and colorless and the icons are so ridiculously bulky and simplistic looking, as I’d they think we’re all too stupid to understand what they are representing otherwise. Some helpful features (battery percentage) have disappeared. It’s so ugly I  can hardly stand to look at it to use it.  I just cancelled my premium renewal.  I’ve had fitbits for years but will get an Apple Watch, or anything else, when my Fitbit dies.

I agree wholeheartedly! This new design is hard to use and looks extremely cheap. I loved the last version but this one is unacceptable. As a premium member I would expect more. I hope Fitbit receives enough feedback and allows customers the option to use the previous version.

Daily Overview should be at the top of the app, not the bottom or at least allow me to move it to the top

Maybe if everyone cancels premium they will get the hint.

I agree with all the other people who prefer the old app layout and functionality. I really don’t like this new app interface and found the previous version to be much better. If you’re going to introduce this new version I really think the way to keep users happy is to give us control and choice over which version we use.

I just went on my first run since the update and was appalled at how much has disappeared.  Where's my map? Where's my speed breakdown? Where is the accurate timing? Naturally I came here to see if I could roll my app back, but it appears that isn't an option.

This isn't OK, Fitbit. This is shrinkflation on a whole new level.

I bought a new phone last week and was forced to get the new app. It is the biggest downgrade so far, and I was already heartbroken when they removed challenges. This seems to show what direction Fitbit is trying to go, and it's not in the direction of their loyal customers. I've had MANY fitbits since 2015. This will be my last.

The new app update is a downgrade in all the ways other people have mentioned. I was even more surprised today when I tracked my hike and couldn't find the data I was looking for. It's a hike, why is altitude nearly ingored in the stats?!?

I'll be buying a Galaxy smartwatch and ditching this useless Fitbit App & Senseless Sense 2 Fitbit.

It seems to me that enough people have already complained so what are they waiting for? I give up hope that they’ll fix the app. I’m switching to an Apple Watch.

For goodness sake! I am getting "Your Versa battery level is low" every two days now and I can't check the percentage left. It was every 4 days on the old app and lasted another two days! Pathetic. Fitbit, please do something about it urgently!!!

Get a clock face that gives battery data in percentage.

I couldn’t be more disappointed and agree with all the comments. This is my third Fitbit but really can’t see me getting a fourth unless changes are made. Google - please listen to your customers!

My Sense 2 has it if I just scroll up, it's the new app version that was updated that is now not on there anymore.

Same with the Sense 2. They aren't going to do anything just like they aren't going to do anything about the Sense 2 update that's been nothing but problems since day one.

To be completely candid with you, you have two choices: 1. Return the app
to its previous model, or, 2. Say goodbye to your customers.

@StanReardon This is the way, and a Lot of us are now looking at other, Non Google owned options.

Sadly many of those are also lacking in functionality, Fitbit was ahead of the curve. Note the Was

I hate this new interface, i agree with all the negitive views expressed by others in this forum.

I'm on my third Fitbit , i find they only last 18 months at the most ,so when this one gives up i'll never buy another one.
