Don't worry - it will be part of google pay very soon now that fitbit is in such trouble and needs to be sold. Perhaps if they'd listened to their customers a little bit more....
I might use this feature if my bank HSBC was added. There are no mainstream banks in the UK included as far as I can see so it seems a bit silly for Fitbit UK to promote this feature constantly. If Fitbit want to compete with Apple and Google they’ll need to nail this feature now not in months or years ...
We may see something happen on this front as Google’s parent company have just purchased FitBit for £2.1b.
Im hoping once they start looking into how it’s run, they will start to improve many of its features as the concept of FitBit is fantastic, it the half hearted execution that lets FitBit’s users down. I just feel the software engineers don’t have the ability, support or it’s business model which is at fault
It is disappointing, and a little misleading to mention Fitbit Pay as a feature in the UK, when none of the major UK banks are supported. Please reconsider your position urgently, and if you need your customers to apply pressure on our banks, in order help you, let us know!
Why haven't the most popular banks been added, like HSBC?
There must be a pretty specific reason not to include the major banks like Lloyds, Halifax, NatWest, or MBNA, etc. Surely it's a win-win situation. It's Incredibly frustrating and not explained when purchasing.
Don't bother posting on here they can't actually act on it. Fitbit UK (twitte) initially told me to post on here, told them I had already done that and they then told me it's actually down to my bank to support Fitbit pay so I have to contact HSBC themselves.
I love the Fitbit tech and the customer support guys have been fantastic when I had an issue with it, but this has annoyed me. I would have been on to the bank months ago had I known Fitbit couldn't do anything.
More than a year of suggesting that HSBC should be available on Fitbit Payment and still nothing has been done about this. Please enable HSBC customers to add their payment to Fitbit!
hi I would like to know when other banks (UK) will be implemented on the fitbit pay the most important ones, Llodys, HSBC, Barclays, Natwest. I would be interested in HSCB. thank you in advance
Hi @Massimiliano87, we wanted to let you know that the ideas you recently posted already exist on the Feature Suggestions Board. You can see them here where you can add your vote to those existing suggestions:

I was gifted a charge 4 last week and very surprised to not see HSBC (major global bank) not part of supported banks for fit pay. Then I came accross this thread request dated 2 years ago. Any news of when this is coming? Its 2020 mates, that’s got to be a simple tweak, no?
While Fitbit's almost total lack of support for UK banks is a pain, there does seem to be a usable work around.
I recently set up and installed the Revolut app and set up the account. You can add the Debit Card that comes with the account to your Fitbit Pay Wallet. You don't even need a physical card, the virtual card that comes with the account can be added, though I could not add it immediately. Of course you then have to make sure your Revolut account is topped up, but you can link the account to your existing bank account and Google/Apple Pay.
I have to admit I have not actually paid for anything with it yet.
Honestly wouldn't waste your breath on here. I got in contact with Fitbit directly who said that the only way to officially add HSBC to Fitbit pay was for HSBC to initiate it from their end. Now I don't understand why a rep from Fitbit hasn't just said that on here it would save all of our time and effort.
Please add hsbc to the fitbit pay option. What is the point in a feature or service when no major UK banks are compatible. So very disappointing when buying a new fitbit!
Recently bought a versa 2. To advertise fitbit pay as a feature in UK is disingenuous. I have cards with 4 UK banks and none of them work. Sort it out fitbit or stop promoting this "feature"
Fitbit Pay doesn’t work in the U.K.. I have a Starling Card and I’m working through customer support. My app says card added. My bank says card added. My Fitbit says card added. But Fitbit support say my account has no card! WTF‽
