Too little too late! I like many other users I am sure have moved on to an
Apple Watch. I did enjoy the all in one of the Fitbit. But after my last
purchase of the the Versa... I was very disappointed after reading that my
issues have been expressed for years by other users. If a company wants
to stand by and not update what their users are asking for, I say so long.

I was excited to use fitbit pay. A little sad to only see 2 Canadian banks listed, but at least 1 of them is in my province. I went and upgraded my card to a virtual debit card, only to find out that it isn't accepted for fitbit pay. Can you please give Canadians more options than just a Credit Card from a choice of 2 banks?

Hi @cathy.anne.w! Great suggestion, thanks for sharing your feedback. I've moved it into a similar request.  A lot of users are asking for this option, I hope we receive updates soon.

@YojanaFitbit I did not put it under this post because I do not use TD Canada Trust. At least put it under a similar post with more up votes, I saw many lol

Hello,

I am very pleased with my brand new FitBit Versa 2! A feature that I was really excited to use was FitBit Pay, however, my bank is not supported. I checked the full list of U.S banks that are supported, and mine was surprisingly not there. It's  quite shocking that TD Bank, one of the most well-known and well-used banks aren't on this list. Please consider adding it, since MANY people use this as their primary bank and form of payment.

Warm regards,

Sarah

Please add Bank of Tennessee to the wallet/Fitbit pay it is needed so we don't have to carry our cards when we go out and that is one of the reasons why I got the Versa 2 because it has Fitbit Pay.

Alas I bought my Fitbit Ionic in May 2018. If TD bank isn’t yet available on the FirBit platform for auto payment I don’t hold out much hope for it in the future

Fitbit Pay should support more banks in Canada. Where is TD, BMO, Scotia, CIBC?

RBC is the only one supported, of the top 5.  This is unacceptable.

Please add TD CanadaTrust to fitbit pay.  There are only 5 providers available in Canada, whereas the US has 100's listed.

Furthermore, you only have 1 out of the top 5 major banks in Canada.  Completely unacceptable!

Hi @SunsetRunner, we wanted to let you know that the ideas you recently posted already exist on the Feature Suggestions Board.

You can see them here where you can add your vote to those existing suggestions:

Fitbit Pay TD Bank

Add BMO to Fitbit Pay
Fitbit Pay - Bank of Novia Scotia (Scotiabank)

CIBC banking (Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce)

Please try to make sure you only post one idea per suggestion, so we can keep the board organized, easily searchable and see which idea other members are voting for.

Thanks for participating in Feature Suggestions.

I’m guessing that ship has sailed. Bought my FitBit in May 2018. If they don’t have other banks yet I don’t think it’s going to happen. Unfortunately.

You have my vote to add TD Bank in the USA.  I went to setup Fitbit Pay on my Versa 2 Spcl Edtn and was disappointed I could not add my TD Visa or TD Debit Card. Please add this financial institution to your list of approved banks in the United States.

As a follow-up to my post a moment ago, I wanted to explain WHY I am requesting this. In this new world of COVID-19 and they push for minimizing contact with almost everything, paying in stores with cash is least preferable (money is one of the dirtiest/germiest things around), yes I can do NFC tap-and-pay w/Samsung Pay, but when wearing cloves fingerprint readers don't always work and not using gloves means even more germs on the phone. However the prospect of using FitBit Pay was a great idea to be as contactless as possible when shopping. No worries, about dirty cash/change, no digging into my pocket and adding germs to my phone, it seemed perfect... Sadly the lack of bank support stopped this idea right in its tracks.

Please add TD Bank to approved vendors for Fitbit Pay. If the issue is TD, please post a point of contact so WE, your customers (and theirs) can reach out to them.

Add TD Bank (in the US) as a supported bank with Fitbit pay using the "Wallet" app.

Hi @LlessibWerd, thanks for explaining why you would like to have the option to see TD Bank on Fitbit Pay. I've moved it into a similar suggestion which has been updated as "Under Consideration". You can learn more about it here. Keep adding these suggestions.

I chose a Fitbit over a cheap activity tracker for the ability to use Fitpay.  I do not have tap enabled on any of my cards due to theft and cloning so I wanted a way to pay that was physically on my body.  Now with Coivid it's even more vital to go hands free. I have accounts at 3 major banks yet none of them are listed.  I was debating on opening a new bank account to accommodate my Fitpay but you only have the banks set up with Credit Cards. Please either hook up with Google pay, or more major banks. You also need to enable the visa debit feature in Canada. I DO NOT use credit cards and many people do not use them. I can shop online with my debit card just as easy as a credit card, so why pay interest. If this feature is not opened up I will quit recommending Fitbit over Apple (which my sister uses with only glowing reviews). So when it comes time to replace my Fit bit I will go Apple instead if more features aren't added for the Canadian market.

There seems to be years of moderators who know nothing of when TD will be added and years of people asking to have TD added. Why even have a wallet app if you only support two popular banks? Why is TD and FIT bit affiliated but TD isn't supported in wallet? I ask the questions knowing full well the moderators will NOT answer any of them, but thank me for posting and blah blah blah......... Now, more than ever, fit bit could help slow the global pandemic by allowing fit bit owners to use a touch-less payment method, but dragging their feet and double speaking responses to questions seems to be what they excel in. I see this question being asked for THREE YEARS. Fit bit models have come and gone, people have DIED waiting for this to be implemented! What does it take to make this happen? How many times can the question be answered with platitudes and non answers? My fit bit just updated today, I was hopeful TD would be included in the update! NOPE! Still has a wallet over 80% of its users find USELESS! Apple watch here I come!

I hear yah. My current Fitbit (which I specifically bought for fitpay) is on the fritz. Just like the companies customer service and devices. This is my last one, then it’s also Apple Watch for me.

I hear ya. This is just pure laziness for a company that boasts about how
active it and its users are. But I suppose they are just as lazy as anyone
else. However, I will never turn to Apple. I hate Apple just as much as I
hate Amazon.

Look at the response from fit bit moderators. “Thanks for posting, I moved your post, please only post once” NEVER an answer to when. YEARS WE BEEN WAITING. How many people have to tell you they are going to get an Apple Watch before you implement their suggestions? How many YEARS does something need to be considered? An explanation of why you make your patrons, your customers, beg and plead for their suggestion to be implemented for over three years?????

This is ridiculous. At least give us an explanation as to why it's not happening. Something, anything... Geeze.

In the short time I've owned a fitbit I've come to realize their software is buggy as all hell and support is mediocre at best sadly. I'm not an Apple person but I will consider an alternate brand for my next watch/fitness tracker. It's sad because the Versa 2 seems to have so much more potential.
