Add a "Find my phone" app in the Fitbit App Gallery

We all misplace our phones from time to time. Since there is Bluetooth connection, it should be simple to reverse the notification and ring your phone. So long as the phone is within Bluetooth range, this should be a feature on the new Versa/Ionic.

I have seen $4 watches on Wish that have this feature. Sad, very sad indeed.

My pebble watch used to be able to do it and it's one of the feature i used most and found helpful. Please take all the good things that Pebble has and incorporate it

Up until now I have been wearing Garmin watches and used their find my phone feature a lot. I really miss it and would love to have it on my Versa.

Need app such as find my device (google) or find my iphone

You need to add an upgrade to have a feature that you can click on a screen on your watch and it connects to your app and makes your cell phone ring or beep so you can find it.

Completely agree!

Got a Versa for my birthday as an upgrade from my old Garmin. So far, I love the Fitbit, but I forgot my phone at home 3 times this week because of this lack of feature.

My Garmin would do a brief buzz when it was out of range from my phone, so if I had left home without the phone, I would know as soon as I reached the driveway.

I also used the Find my Phone feature quite often to find in which room I had left the phone.

So simple, but oh so useful feature!

Fantastic idea.

I switched back to the Apple Watch because my Ionic didn’t have this feature. Only reason I switched back. I would go back to Fitbit in a heartbeat if it had a ‘find my phone’ option. Seems like a pretty easy fix....

Please add an app or feature that would allow me to find my phone from the watch.

So many people would love to have a way to find their phone from this otherwise very nice watch/fitness tracker.  Please consider all the feedback given.  Very much needed!!  Was my most used feature on my last watch 😉

This was a feature on my Garmin VivoSmart - if my phone was in bluetooth range of my watch, I could make it ring and vibrate until I unlocked my phone. I used this a lot - there are lots of shelves and nooks and crannies in my home for my phone to get lost in. This feature seems so simple that I assumed it would be on my Versa, but now that I've realized it's not there I'm beginning to regret my purchase. Something that is supposed to be more fully-featured than a basic activity tracker should not have less functionality. I'm likely to switch back to Garmin if this isn't added soon.

I'm really missing this feature. Would love to see this simple and useful feature in the next software update.

I'm coming from Samsung and a little disappointed to find the Fitbit does not have 'Find My Phone' app. My phone is in a black case and I always forget where it is. I may have to rethink Fitbit..

I can't believe Fitbit don't have the find my phone feature. Cheap imitations like Mi band even have it.

I switched from the new Samsung Gear Fit2 Pro to the Fitbir Versa. O wanted a sleeker look and I love the square shape. It also connects to more apps for fitness. But I was vary disappointed when I found out it dose not have "find my phone". I am a mother of 2. 11yrs and 2yrs(boys). So j am always forgetting where I put my phone.  The find my phone feature on my gear fit2 pro was used quite often. Please find a way to get the Find My Phone feature on the Versa.

Would be great to get a signal when phone is out if bluetooth range.

And also possibility to ‘ring’ it once you’ve lost it.

With both the option to toggle on and off.

Is it so difficult for the engineers that it takes so long? Would be nice to get a heads up in where you are in the progress.

The first post was in 2016. Kind of takes a long time one could say. 🤔😉

If a $25 Xiaomi Mi band can have it, $150 FitBit Charge 2 should have it too!

There are comments here asking for this feature since 2015, It kinda puts me off staying with fitbit

I have a fitbit ionic since March of this year. Last week I got a new one within guarantee because it had performance issues.

It’s not perfect but I really like the way this watch works. Without ‘find-phone’ though I’m not sure if I’d get another fitbit after guarantee expires.

I paid € 350 for a watch that Fitbit probably makes even more money on using my data.  So they should add this simple feature or at least explain why it’s not yet Incorporated. Service!

Maybe you are on to something ... Fitbit focusing on doing features that produces sellable data... Are we no longer the customer?

Couldn’t wait any longer for this feature. Got the Apple Watch 4. It’s pretty awesome.
