Allow more than one data exportation within a 24 hour period

Why can't I make more than one data export request within a 24 hour period? Surely, I should be able to at least make the request, regardless if it takes a little longer to receive the actual data. This 24 hour time constraint seems to go against the obligations of GDPR.

Hello Moderator,

I want to bring your attention to recent issue that at least 15 or so people have reported in past week or so.

We are unable to download the export file generated by "Export Your Account Archive" feature. The data file is generated but it cannot be downloaded.

Please see the following other Fitbit Community threads on this issue for details.

No Fitbit moderator has made any comment in these threads yet. Users have been trying to get attention and resolution via Twitter DM and Fitbit Chat. But all users report that they are getting no action or acknowledgement of issue. Support agents just give standard "clear your browser" etc advice and it doesn't appear to be acknowledged, let alone escalated for resolution.

Can you please escalate and let us know what to expect!

Thank you!
