Allow us to move or delete Cardio Load prompt

There is a new Activity called Cardio Load on my home page and I cannot move or delete it. I don't care about it. I want to see my Steps on the top of the list and now I can't see them because of this new Activity and the size of my iPhone mini. This is ridiculous.

I find it laughable that the Commentator of this thread Puts the responsibility on Fitbit users by saying that if we comment enough and reply to this thread fitbit will do some thing about the poor functionality of the cardio load feature.

I think Google has enough money to do Their own testing and market research on any new feature they release or any improvements they want to make to ensure that they actually are improvements .

I’ve been using Fitbit Since it first came out And it’s a responsibility of them to improve their product. Over all that time, The only time I’ve been forced to come here to find a solution to a problem was after google took it over.. Who has time for this! And thanks for making me spend a half hour on my phone to try and figure out how to toggle off a frozen notification that I don’t need

Just fix it Google - It’s an Obvious flaw in the new feature and should have a way to be toggled off for people who do not want to be accosted by it every single day throughout the day on their app - Not to mention that it’s unhelpful and inaccurate Information being supplied. Boo 😒

The mod reply doesn't acknowledge that we turn off the feature but still get the pop up.

Every 7 days, I now go on to delete my cardio load data. It gives me a week without seeing the pop up but then I have to do it again.

You have until I'm ready to buy my next watch. Maybe 6 months? If this issue isn't resolved, I'm switching to Garmin. This is so stupid that they do this. There's so much wrong with cardio load... but all we want is that when we toggle it off, we do not get the pop up every time we open the app. It's right at the top so we can't see what we set up already to be up top - what's important to the user cannot be seen until we click "X"  — EVERY TIME.

I'm having the same problem as the other 300 people in this thread. Ugly, shaming messages, very poorly thought out, that show up every time I open the app. No matter what my activity actually is, the message is something opposite of reality - "you've been pushing yourself, slow down" when i haven't moved my body in 3 days, then "ready to hit your target?" when I've already done a 5 mile hike. It's insulting. i have the cardio load tile turned off, I X out of the message every time, and it still pops up. this is on Android. i saw that one user fixed it by taking the fitbit off to sleep but sleep tracking is like 90% of why i own any tracker. seriously thinking it's time to switch to some less insulting product. this bug is the worst one this rather bad app has ever had! please fix it immediately!

I use my fitbit primarily for swimming, occasional walks and step counting, and I kinda find it ridiculous that the app is trying to shame me about not hitting cardio load after also registering an intense 1 hour workout from swimming same day..

I agree with all these other people. The pop up messsges are SUPER annoying and we need to be able to opt out. I have cardio load toggles off but I still get these annoying g messages. Only in my case, it’s telling me to take it easy to avoid overtraining. But in no way shape or form am I overtraining! In fact, I’m recovering from an injury so I’m ramping up very, very slowly. Yesterday I took a day off and today the obnoxious message told me I was overtraining and I should take a day off. I just DID. It’s bizarre, highly inaccurate and infuriating. Make these stupid messages go away!

I completely understand. I was overtraining and took 1 day off. The next
day I got a message that I was at risk of under training. I also do a lot
of long power walks and cold water wild swimming. I do not wear my fitbit
for that because of salt water. I know apple watch can take it. I hesitate
with my Sense

I am seriously considering getting rid of my Fitbit if this isn’t fixed, not only is it very irritating, the messages are aggressive, poorly worded and don’t actually reflect the workouts I have been doing. I ran a 5k one day, did a dance class the next day and spinning the day after…. All whilst walking at least 8km a day… but apparently I’m at risk of being inactive and undertraining.

It sounds like you are doing an excellent job staying fit and healthy. It
really is discouraging to have an app decide what is enough cardiofor an
individual. I truly hope those at Fitbit speed up and fix this. I do
believe they will. It is counterproductive to keep a feature that causes
users to switch to new devices and apps. Keep the feedback coming. It will
help them to fix this

Please get rid of this stupid AI generated feature. I hate it so much. I used to have obsessive compulsive exercising - I do not need to be told I am "under training" when I have a couple rest days. Remove it!!

This is driving me crazy, almost to the point of leaving Fitbit altogether. Pls fix.

My previously much-loved Inspire 2 is nearing the end of its usable life, and I'm looking into other simple, basic, low-cost devices (that DO NOT have a cardio load prompt!). Any suggestions?

Agreed! Get rid of the annoying comment! I have the tile unchecked but it still comes up. I've tripled my usual steps over the last week on holiday wnd smashed my calorie output goals yet it keeps saying I'm undertraining.

This is so demoralising and unhelpful. GET RID!

got the above this morning - followed almost immediately by the usual "target" pop up, which beggars belief. It's made me genuinely angry all day, the number of times I've seen it. First day back at work after a bereavement and I could do without it. It's also potentially ableist. Shame on whoever thought this was a good idea - and for whoever hasn't fixed it permanently.

I don't have any suggestions but hope all the comments get the
Fitbit/Google to fix this awful cardio load prompt.

@jane_7 thank you. I thought it was just me cracking up over it this. I was relieved (wrong word probably) to find a thread covering it. It's 8pm here and I've just had another one. So inappropriate in so many ways. I just hope it'll be sorted....but they take ages to fix major issues, so... 🙄🤞🏼

Commenting here won't accomplish anything.  People need to call and open a ticket.  I called this weekend and they have nothing in their logs regarding the cardio load message app bug.

I have an open ticket now but....... waiting on a response to that, too.

I also post a comment on Instagram daily regarding the app bug.  People need to know the app has bugs.

The prompts are unnecessary and incorrect and should be removable. Stop making the product exponentially worse.

Absolutely agree with all of these comments. I find this message annoying and unhelpful. I am currently trying to increase and improve my movement and this message either says “YOURE DOING TOO MUCH! STOP DOING ANYTHING” or “YOURE LAZY AND YOU HAVENT BEEN DOING ANYTHING.” And it basically trades off like that every other day. It’s not helpful. Nor accurate.

I heard back from a moderator that they are working to fix this issue. She
tagged me and 2 others. I believe we should leave feedback in all areas.
Starting tickets and liking others posts should help. I am hoping that like
the IG algorithm that that more feedback the more attention they will give
this.

Please make the cardio load prompt go away. Please.

Yes please give an option to turn these prompts off, they are so triggering! I am working out enough, I don’t need the app to keep telling me to work harder. This is an especially bad feature for those with EDs or a bad relationship with exercise, not cool at all.

I wonder why it's so easy to screw things up and so hard to fix them. 🤔

Adding to the many, MANY comments here that the cardio load prompt needs to go away if the cardio load tile is toggled off. I don't want to use it, the prompts are obnoxious and usually an inaccurate reflection of my recent activity. I'm sure it's a great feature for some, but it needs to be optional.

I despise the cardio load as well. Confusing and annoying. Will not close out, even though I have cardio load turned off.

I think this "feature" was part of the Premium package but nobody wanted to pay for crap, so they started giving it away. Well I have news for you Google....we don't want it....even for FREE.

It's just as buggy as the Fitbit app has become under your misguided changes.

I deleted my cardio load data. That's done it for now, but I don't believe it'll stay away. The app is probably gathering data again for it before it starts spamming the screen again...
