Blood pressure Fitbit device with historical tracking

It would be great if Fitbit either created a blood pressure monitor and a glucose monitor that would sync with the dashboard or if they would team up with another company (Omron, diabetic community app) to have their product sync with the dashboard instead of having to manually enter it.

Great ideas adding tracking for blood pressure, blood sugar and body measurements

Please add an option to make the battery level show as a stat on the Charge HR. I currently don't know battery level until it shows up as almost dead. I would rather see it on a constant basis without having to look at the app on my phone. My FitBit wearing friends agree!

Add blood Pressure manual Logging ( Systolic or Diastolic ) to FitBit App or dashboard.
Currently I am using a standalone app to manually log my Blood Pressure reading. It will be very usefull to have this function in FitBit.

If you've been into fitness for any time you know that glucose levels are critical for measuring true energy levels and monitoring overall wellness. Why in the world doesn't FitBit include this feature? There are several great new technologies for non-invasive continuous glucose monitors that could become new glucose apps. Glucosense is one company. Echo Therapeutics has a new needle free sensor with bluetooth. Google is developing sensors that measure glucose in tears. I don't understand why FitBit isn't partnering with these companies to develop a glucose monitor.

New user here and I do happen to be diabetic. I love the dashboard and decided to try to log my glucose numbers.. I was disappointed to find out that this used to be a feature but has been discontinued. I cannot imagine why. So please consider this a vote to reinstate a tab on my dashboard that would allow me to manually input my glucose numbers.

Thank you

I am new to fitbit.  I have a charger HR.  I am diabetic and really wanted to track my glucose numbers on the dashboard.  I am confused.  They had a feature to track glucose numbers, but they discontinued it.  Why would they discontinue that feature knowing that more and more people are being diagnosed with it?   Please consider putting this feature back on the dashboard to allow diabetics to manually the glucose numbers.

Thanks

I have the Charge HR to help monitor my heart rate. I love this device. It keeps me encouraged and motivated. I have Stage II High Blood Pressure that has caused Hypertensive Heart Disease, so in addition to monitoring my heart rate, I also have to monitor my blood pressure. It would be awesome if Fitbit could incorporate a blood pressure reading too.

Hello
I also diabetic. I am new to fitbit and was surprised that I could use the
daily food log my carbs and in add notes. Adding gluclose numbers would be
awesome and helpful for me. So please consider this a vote to reinstate a
tab on my dashboard that would allow me to manually input my glucose
numbers.
is there anyone else that we can contact in fitbit community that may be of
assistance?

I was curious about this too, and it seems it's been removed.  Not sure why.

It should be there.  If people are able to log their BP into the Fitbit App, it makes them more reluctant to change devices to a Jawbone, UA, or Apple Watch.

Not sure what Fitbit is thinking for removing that ability.

There is a handy touchscreen on the Surge, and on the upcoming Blaze too.

I am a diabetic, and I regularly do blood glucose testing.

A glucose tile could be added to the dashboard and a logging function on a Surge.

After doing my glucose test, with a few taps on my tracker I could log my test results.

I could even share access to that portion of my fitbit data with healthcare providers.

Would love to be able to enter my blood pressure as I do my weight and body fat in the iPhone app.

We used to be able to do this and it is VERY VERY missed. Im also pretty sure we could just do a daily log entry, sort of like a journal. It would be really nice to have this back, otherwise we'll have to go lloking for other apps to address our needs.

I would like to see an add one to track your blood pressure. I have to take my blood pressure at least 3 times a day. It would be nice to see a graff on my dash board. I don't like having to download all these apps! 1 app, all wants would be awesome!

Would be fantastic to have (diabetic) glucose monitoring under the log area. And be able to privately add medication level and other details that I keep.

Hey All,

Another Type 1 Diabetic here. I agree with many others here, would be very useful to have charts to track blood glucode levels. I know my doctor would be happy with me as well bringing all this useful information to my appointments.

Matt

I understand that. You must of read my post wrong. I would like to see some
where on the app to store the information. Meaning I would like to only
have to have 1 app on my phone not 10

I would love to see diabetic exchanges and glucose readings added to the dashboard. Use my Fitbit app regularly, but just being diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, I need help keeping track of these items and do not want to use another app besides Fitbit.

removed some time ago

I see 2 reasons :

1) not enough users to keep the functionnality.

2) more, the Dashboard becomes a medical site, and the reglementation and responsability are not the same.
