Blood pressure Fitbit device with historical tracking

It would be great if Fitbit either created a blood pressure monitor and a glucose monitor that would sync with the dashboard or if they would team up with another company (Omron, diabetic community app) to have their product sync with the dashboard instead of having to manually enter it.

My trainer loves my weekly data export, but she wants specific tracking for sugar intake. Any chance FB can isolate this data within the existing database?

I would very much like a BP wireless device from fitbit that syncs with the other data and is available as a tile on the app. Withings makes a large wireless BP device so its is doable but it should be smaller to travel easier. A wrist cuff would be ideal.

The current daily reccomendations/limitations for sugar intake are 150 calories (37.5 grams or 9 teaspoons) for men and for women: 100 calories per day (25 grams or 6 teaspoons) and most people far exceed that recommendation in just one soda! Sugar is sugar regardless of its source (natural, added, etc.), it would be useful to see our sugar intake in the same location as fats/carbs/proteins. It would be so useful for those of us who are trying to limit our sugar intake.

Is there a blood pressure device in the near future? I use the scale (Aria) and it would be great to add blood pressure to your list of available devices!

Word. Here's another vote for adding a sugar intake tracker.

Agree with all of the suggestions to add a way to track sugar.  ALSO, please add the ability to track saturated fat.  Sugar and Saturated Fat are the two elements I am most interested in using.  "Perfect Diet Tracker" will be my food intake tracker until Fitbit makes these enhancements.

Agreed.  Tracking sugar is very important and it would be nice to see it with the rest of the counts (ie.Calories, Fat, Fiber, Carbs)  I am way more interested in tracking sugar than sodium.

Please add it soon!!  Thanks!

I definitely agree added sugar should be part of the breakdown of calories just like sodium is I am always monitoring to make sure I don't eat more than 24 g per day  so having it part of the food log would be fantastic

I'd like to see fitbit offer sugar and sodium intake tracking on the food plan, with alarms when you are close to your daily limit. This would be helpful for diabetics and people just looking to decrease sugar in their diets. I'd also like to see a recipe builder similar to other diet apps.

I agree - like others, i have tried to amalgamate my data tracking to Fitbit including Food Logged.  To not track sugar on the non premium platform, which is more and more being revealed as a major issue to health, is hard to understand.   Please FITBIT leaders, add the Sugar (g) column to the Food Log platform please please.

Please make a Blood Pressure device. If Withering can make Wireless Blood Pressure Monitor, which I have, surely Fitbit can!

I switched from Withering devices to the 2 Fitbit devices, but I am forced to use a Withering device because you don't have a BP monitoring device!

A wrist cup size would be great.

I'd be interested in the sugar data being available in the food log - daily totals. VERY keen on the recipe builder with the option to put in how many serves make the entire recipe and what the serving size of an individual portion would be.

I second this - and have seen so many requests like it.  I am a new user because my wife decided she wanted to try Fitbit - and she loves it.  The only problem is that both my daughter and I are diabetic and it would be great to have this as a tile to track daily/weekly/monthly progress.

Sure Fitbit is great, but without this added in I am going to give my Fitbit to my son to use and I will just have to use some other technology.  I have tried liking with apps that provide the gl.ucose monitoring but again, that's a different app and not Fitbit, and I am having trouble understanding how to add an external app to make a tile on my fitbit page.  I would be happy to use that method (I suppose) but it's not easy to setup and a little confusing.  When I linked Fitbit with MS Health there was no option for Fitbit to read that information - only seems to want to send fitbit info to MS Health - so why would I buy a Fitbit when I can just buy the MS band and have everything I want?  I wanted to try to use something that wasn't tied to some major OS manufacturer.  I suppose I could try google fit.

Anyway - please add a tile for BG and BP monitoring as I have to do that as well.

Any plans of creating a blood pressure monitor that syncs with app?

At the very least an identification tag would be nice to add to the bracelet for type 1. Why not double up on bracelets?!

Due to the exceptional importance of knowing sugar consumption, especially in light of the growing diabetes epidemic, monitoring its intake is a major concern and a benefit to the consumers. Fitbit in terms of its fitness brand image, tracking sugar as a base feature is an additional plus in the role they play in helping their customers maintain their health and sustaining Fitbit as a perfomance fitness product leader.

Please (pretty please with sugar on top)  🙂   ADD SUGAR TRACKING FITBIT PEOPLE!   ITS So critically important and in my opinion, more so than calories in/out.

it would be nice if the Fitbit a app also tracked sugar grams as well as calories for those of us watching our sugar intake.

I whole heartedly agree.  My family has a history of heart disease and diabetes.  I have two sisters with diabetes and three with heart conditions.  I would like the fitbit app to have an option to add glucose testing.  I would like to be able to test as often as I like and have time and date associated with testing.  Manual entry is fine for now but evolution to being able to capture data from other bluetooth devices (sugar, temperature, weight) is the key.  We started with four Charge HR's and have four more to purchase so the functionality should be built into the dashboard/app until you are able to add other sensors and bluetooth capabilities.

You are currently marketing Fitbit to people who are working out but there is another segment of people with health conditions where the Fitbit could be a key tool for helping patients better capture and communicate health data to their doctors.

Would love to see a Diabetic tracking option or have the foods you eat to have a sugar intake calculation in relation to your blood sugar level if possible.

Track daily added sugar/total sugar in summary totals. You get a lot of requests for this, don't wait until you're losing customers to do it. Should be easy.
