I am on day 997 of getting 10,000 or more steps a day in a row. I was looking forward to seeing 1,000 on a few days. I can’t believe you took that feature away.
I absolutely hate the "new Google" Fitbit. I was on day 538 of continuous days for meeting my high step goals and boom..... it longer exists. Why would they get rid of this amazing motivational feature???? I am shopping for another brand. Google is too big and really doesn't care. The Fitbit owner(s) are probably really happy and rich though.
I was close to three years of 10,000 + steps a day and was looking forward to seeing that magic number of 1,095 days in a row.what a stupid move by removing it
Just adding to some similar sentiments in hopes of getting some action from the product team. The step streak was one of the most important things to me on the app. I can't contemplate what the product team was thinking to consider removing it, but hope you all are listening to your customers and putting it back.
Oh my, I’m in awe of you. I remember a few week ago when I hit 500, 7k steps. I’ve been reading that they’ve agreed to bring the streak back, and we won’t lose our total. My fingers are crossed. I keep checking throughout the day for a fix. I need to stop focusing on it because it’s affecting my mood
I purchased a new Fitbit just to keep my step streak intact which meant I had to update the app to use it. Now the step streak feature is gone I will not be getting another Fitbit when this one breaks, which probably won't be too long since they only last a couple of years anyway. I'm on my 4th Fitbit since 2017.
Oh my. I’ve had mine for 2 years now. I’ll wait til it dies before moving toPple Watch. I read on the forum that the designers would bring back the step streak and the count would be updated to current days. Fingers crossed🤞🤞🤞
Moving to apple watch? I'm intrigued by what other platforms people are moving to. I too am holding out hope fitbit reinstalls step streak and positive vibes on their app.
My wife & I each purchased a Charge 5 around Christmas 2022. Each has already been replaced under warranty with mine in particular being a major fight. I swam with mine on - locked as prescribed - and it became unresponsive. We have been FitBit users since the Charge 2. My wife said she will stick it out with FitBit, but I’m looking for used Apple Watches of Series 6 or newer. If the Apple Watch performs like my phones (since iPhone 4) and iPads, I will end the unreliability and now an app that took away major features. What a betrayal by FitBit after stating Google will be an even better owner.
PS> I don’t know if it’s the new app, but now at least 2x/wk my FitBit stops recording my sleep in the 1 o’clock hour in the morning despite me sleeping fine. So add not evaluating sleep correctly as another reason to dump FitBit. Sent from Gmail Mobile running on iPlakos, my latest iPad
I’ll be switching to Apple Watch even before the battery in my Charge 5 dies. My Charge 5 is down to lasting only 6 days, which at this pace I should need an Apple Watch by Christmas. 😞
