Bring back step streak on new Fitbit app

I am on day 997 of getting 10,000 or more steps a day in a row. I was looking forward to seeing 1,000 on a few days. I can’t believe you took that feature away.

@LizzyFitbit  - if the streak is not going to be re-instated let me know ASAP. This will be the deciding factor in me replacing my fitbit with an AppleWatch.

It may be time for Garmin since it appears Fitbit may be reconsidering bringing the step streak feature back as announced last week by news media.

@LizzyFitbit: thank you for changing the status to under consideration. Question: what else can we do to influence the team to being this feature back aside from encouraging people to co time to vote!!

All we can do is articulate and double down via voice our request for the streak feature to return. However logic is not often the friend of these big tech companies.

Thanks for the updates -  if user motivation is truly an important objective, the return of the daily step streak count will go a long way to achieving that goal.  Please, keep us all informed!!!

That is terrible news about the 997. I only had a streak of a few weeks but was finally getting back into it lately and the lack of this feature killed my momentum. If it doesn’t come back, this will be my last Fitbit device. This is my first community post as a desperation to try to get them to give it back before I switch to a different tracker

Yes, upgrades that take away your favorite features aren't really upgrades at all.  Also tired of being incessantly prompted to upgrade to PREMIUM, and having to make sure not to hit the wrong button and then struggle to unsubscribe.

To quote Lando, "This deal's getting worse all the time..."

The good thing about this mess of an upgrade is that it has made me stop and analyze which features I actually use.  That led me to cancel premium after several years of paying $9.99/month.  Not really using those additional features anyway.  Not worth the money.

The number of days in a row seen on the app screen was a motivator. The new layout of the app is terrible and ugly with no colors. After almost 10 years with Fitbit I’m considering to leave it for a smart Apple watch (which was never my first choice) but once I use iPhone and iMac… please bring that info back to the app with our days numbers rightly updated.

I hope this puts your mind at ease. They’re working on a new release. I was
really angry when I saw the new app. Hangin there, and keep streaking. I
write mine down everyday. Not gonna let their stupidity stop me

I never found any reason for premium. I hate add-ons that cost money

I too did enjoy the basic non premium features on my fitbit.  I'm hopeful they will reinstall step streak, goal achievement celebration, and battery charge status, the basics that differentiate fitbit from the rest.

For me, and it sounds like many others, removing the notification banner for continuous days meeting a goal is a disappointment.  I also miss the battery indicator.

Same here. Are you having problems with your Fitbit syncing with the app? I
know lots people are.

I was encouraged every day when I saw how many days I had in my step streak. It was the one part of Fitbit I used.
My current Fitbit is my 4th iteration. I might need to start shopping for a counter that better fits my needs.

Yes I have a charge 4 that is not displaying info on the led anymore I can only access the app and the info is inconsistent.  Truth be told I purchased a new fitbit tracker with the hopes google restores the features the update took away.

it’s ironic that they tried to improve, but only made it worse. In addition to taking away step streak, fireworks on goals, and battery display on app, making it graphically uglier – it works much worse. Phone app very slow to sync with watch and other malfunctions, I am hearing from others. THEY MADE THE FUNCTIONING WORSE!

My phone won’t EVEN sync anymore. I know it’s not my de ice as I see others
are having the problem. Idk that’d the patience to wait until the revised
app comes out, and I can’t find anything on the forum that even addresses
the problem. And it won’t let me post in the product section of the forum.
I am so discouraged

I love my Fitbit inspire 2. I’m happy with the features. But now the app
won’t sync with it. I’m so frustrated and get no help from support. Not
sure what to do. For now I’m keeping track on paper

Wow I have the inspire 3 coming to replace my failed charge 4. If I have issues with the new tracker and get poor support I'm returning the device and moving on.
