I am on day 997 of getting 10,000 or more steps a day in a row. I was looking forward to seeing 1,000 on a few days. I can’t believe you took that feature away.
I agree this feature should definitely be returned to the app and should never have been removed. It is a HUGE motivator for me and other Fitbit users that I know. It is probably the MAIN motivator for me even having a Fitbit in the first place. Please bring it back!!
I just lost an hour, trying to get my Fitbit to connect with my phone. a very kind rep tried to help me until he became too frustrated to continue. Somehow I got it back by myself. But my sleep stats from last night will not come up. I think the Google changes include crappy functioning.
Yes my charge 4 went off the deep end with the update/downgrade. I had to discard it. So I'm back to my trusty Ironman. Quietly, I'm enjoying the simplicity of living, without the recharging and need to always see how I'm doing.
I also was having issues getting my sleep to register. After several chat sessions I gave up. I have an iPhone and versa 2 and have found that doing the following steps every night works for me and have not missed data since doing this after I get into bed: 1. Shut down the Fitbit app on my phone 2. Turn off my phone 3. Restart my phone 4. Restart my Fitbit watch 5. Restart the Fitbit app on my phone.
I 100% agree that the main reason I own a Fitbit was because of the cumulative tracker!!!! It’s my major motivator. I was able to get my 10,000 steps in while suffering with COVID!!!!!!! If that doesn’t tell you how motivating it is nothing will!!! I was afraid y’all might do this, so have started keeping track on a calendar, just in case, and I’m glad I did. But I shouldn’t have to do it manually when the app can do it for me!! I’m on track to hit 1,000 days on January 6,2024. PLEASE bring back the tracker!!!
I think I am right behind you but I don’t remember the total days before they stopped the tracker. Still hoping they bring it back so I can see that three year mark and show my kids that it can be done
I believe the step streak is back! I upgraded to version 4.02 and batter percentage is back, and I believe step streak is also. I haven't hit my goal yet today but looking at "Yesterday" and hitting "Steps" I see "1168 day streak Keep hitting your steps goal to continue your streak". Plain text no fireworks, but it is there. Thank you Google.
Note: When you search in the app store for Fitbit it may have an "Open" button instead of "Update". Click on the FitBit App icon and you will see an UPDATE button.
