I am on day 997 of getting 10,000 or more steps a day in a row. I was looking forward to seeing 1,000 on a few days. I can’t believe you took that feature away.
Bravo, mine is there too. And the battery icon is back too.But again, they make us go search for the steps count. This is an improvement but it doesn’t change the fact that they messed up big time. Sorry for the bitterness.
Warning: when I tried the above tips, I was prompted to sync my phone to the app, which I did, but that somehow reset my step streak to 15 days instead of over 600! I complained on the customer service chat and they told me some nonsense about how 'phones and Fitbits keep different sets of data to we can't recover it', which is nonsense since I can clearly see my own day by day record in the Fitbit app, plain as the nose on my face. They opened a case and I'll keep prodding them, but fair warning!
If you tap the shoe you can see the steps streak however mine says 55 days (which is @ when they downgraded to the new version). But I’ve been keeping track and haven’t missed a day so it should say 1014 days in a row. If it doesn’t get corrected, I’ll only use my other brand which I started using at 1000 days in case Fitbit didn’t fix it.
My “new” step streak is not right. Reports said we would not lose the previous count. I was at 1100+ days. With the update it says mine streak is 53 days.
Fitbit really messed up with the “upgrade” and have not delivered on what was reported they would do to fix it. Thank you to the users who figured out where to find the step streak - it would have been nice if Fitbit had notified users (if they did, I did not see it).
If enough of us complain to customer service we should be able to resolve this, considering FitBit already has our data stored! It's their app, we've all been syncing our steps daily waiting for the streak to come back, there's no reason it shouldn't display accurately!!
They obviously don’t have a software testing group that looks for bugs. So frustrating. I used to do that as a job and we would pore over every line of code and test each function down to the individual step. They obviously don’t have that😣😣😣😣
Hopefully they fix the step streak. As of today I’m at 1014, but app says 55. Which is about when they downgraded. Wearing two brands since day 1000. If Fitbit doesn’t correct my streak, no need to continue with it. I’ll just wear my G and add 1000 to new total.
Yay! I reloaded v. 4.03 and have my correct days at goal (1170) but only if you press the shoe in the center of the ring. It also shows the battery percentage in the upper left corner. Not sure how this is an improvement over the “old app”. Sent from my iPad
If someone is willing, can someone please post a screen shot what the return of the "step steak" looks like for more than a year? I press on the shoe and it brings to the screen with day, week, month, and year but I don't see more than that. Thanks to whoever does it.
